What your annual subscription licenses.
An AAP subscription licenses the OUBAS digital publication set, continuing-education and research material, and an annual digital membership certificate. Included with that licence, at no extra charge, are eight dedicated professional-exchange areas described below.
Section 01
Professional Directory
A searchable continental register of AAP members — the fastest way for African professionals to find one another across disciplines, countries and sectors.
- Member profiles with qualifications, experience, sector and country
- Search by profession, discipline, region or area of interest
- Publications, research and project history on every profile
- Directory listing is opt-in and controlled by each member
Members opt in on the membership form. Listings appear once membership is approved and the subscription is paid.
Section 02
Discussion Forums
Moderated professional forums where members debate the questions shaping the continent — governance, banking, technology, ethics, infrastructure and education.
- Sector forums for each professional discipline
- Cross-disciplinary rooms for continental issues
- Expert-led discussions and Q&A threads
- Professional code of conduct applies to all contributions
Forums are open to paid-up members. Threads are moderated by the AAP membership team.
Section 03
Project Collaboration
Multidisciplinary teams formed around real African problems — because Africa's challenges are rarely solved by one profession alone.

Members may propose a project or join an existing team through the AAP membership team.

Research outputs may be published through OUBAS's Research Library where appropriate.

Submissions are reviewed by the AAP editorial panel. Authorship remains with the member.
